What To Read After How To Train Your Dragon

I just got home from the newest How to Train Your Dragon movie. My heart breaks that it’s over but the ending was well done. If you’re anything like me, you’re going to want to fill that dragon-filled hole in your heart. Here are some of my fire-breathing recommendations for you.

The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli

Dragon Slippers by Jessica Day George

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman

Before She Ignites by Jodi Meadows

Beastly Bones by William Ritter

Dealing with Dragons by Patrica C. Wrede

Tell me, what are your favorite dragon books?

      1. Temeraire is going way back, so it’s not talked about much these days! I think there were six or seven books in the series, so if you enjoy the first one, you’ll have a ton of dragon goodness to anticipate!

and I didn’t even remember the Trelian book, I legit had to google my livejournal username + dragons and thankfully google came through with my gushing post from a decade ago about how awesome it was, haha
