If you’ve found your way to this post, you’re likely an enamel pin collector. When you first start collecting, it’s tricky to figure out what to do with them. You have a few and you need to do something with the pins. You’re not quite ready to made the jump to paying for a pin board or pin banner. What do you do?

Good news! You can make your own pin board for pretty cheap.

My pin board that I made in 3 minutes.

Supplies

  • Embroidery Hoop [$1.49-2.49 at Hobby Lobby]
  • Fabric [Upcycle old shirts or scarves or buy fabric squares at the craft store]

Directions

  • Unscrew embroidery hoop until the 2 pieces come apart.
  • Stretch fabric over smaller hoop.
  • Put hoop back together. Tighten until secure
  • I trimmed my excess fabric from the back and the side.

Is it fancy? No. Is it elegant? Not really. Is it easy? YEP.

    • Store your pins AND see if you want to spend $$ on a nicer board.
  • It’s a great way to use up fabrics you’re not using.
