  1. I loved Maud! I’m also not big on prequels to classics, but Marilla of Green Gables was pretty good, too! I’ve also read the board book, which is just words showing places from the book. Obviously more for parents than kids, who don’t even know what the references are.

    • Oh, good. I was hoping they were interesting but you never know with those types of books.

      In normal times, I work with babies at the library so I love the trend of ‘pop culture’ board books. Babies just love the bright colors but it gives grown ups a chance to share something they love with little ones.
