Trinitee Stokes: Actress, Author, Baker, Philanthropist

Welcome to the Back Story! Today, we have the pleasure of being joined by Trinity Stokes, a multi-talented individual who, at just 12 years old, is already an accomplished author, actress, singer, and baker. Trinity, we’re thrilled to have you here today!

Trinity, you have such a wide range of talents. Is there something you haven’t tried yet that you aspire to do?

Trinity: I’ve always been intrigued by horseback riding. It’s something I have yet to experience, but it’s definitely on my list of things to try.

That sounds exciting! So, apart from horseback riding, what is your dream role for television or film?

Trinity: I’ve always envisioned myself in a role like Charlie’s Angels. The idea of going undercover and fighting for justice just seems incredibly awesome to me.

Trinity, you also hold the title of Read Across Africa Goodwill Ambassador. How did this come about, and what does it entail?

Trinity: Well, I’m particularly excited for my upcoming 13th birthday on April 12th. Instead of receiving gifts, I’ve decided to use this occasion to raise funds for Read Across Africa. My goal is to build a library in Kenya because literacy is something I am incredibly passionate about. Alongside my other endeavors, such as Bold and Blessed, I believe that all children should have access to reading and literacy, as it has played a crucial role in my own life.

That’s truly inspiring! Could you share how one becomes a Read Across Africa Goodwill Ambassador?

Trinity: To be honest, I’m not entirely sure how it happened. It sort of just fell into place. I had a chance encounter with the founder of Read Across Africa, and we got to talking. We decided that being a goodwill ambassador would be a wonderful way to formalize our collaboration.

On your birthday, how can people support your fundraising efforts?

Trinity: I have set up a link on my website, www.antakungfu.com, where people can donate funds. I want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to contribute and make a difference!

That’s fantastic! On another note, I heard that you will be speaking at the United Nations. Could you tell us more about this incredible opportunity?

Trinity: Yes, I am beyond excited! When my mom shared the news with me, I couldn’t believe it. It’s an honor to be able to address such influential individuals and share a message of worth, encouragement, and hope. I hope to inspire people and remind them of their inherent value.

Impressive! Now, let’s talk about your book. Where did the inspiration for “Bold and Blessed” come from?

Trinity: I wanted to create a book that would empower and encourage others to embrace their self-worth. The title, “Bold and Blessed,” encapsulates the message I want to convey. I believe that everyone should have the courage to live their lives unapologetically and experience abundance.

That’s a beautiful message! Lastly, during your travels, what has been your favorite food experience?

Trinity: Ah, that’s a tough one! When we visited London for Thanksgiving last year, I had the most amazing scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. It was an absolute treat!
